Do I need to know any Arabic?
No. The beginner pathway starts with the sounds, letters and everyday expressions of Arabic. If you have learned before, tell us a little about your experience and we’ll discuss a suitable starting point.
Will I learn Modern Standard Arabic or a dialect?
The beginner pathway focuses on Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), the form used in writing, news and many formal settings. Everyday spoken Arabic varies by region. If you want a particular dialect for family, travel or work, mention it in your enquiry so we can discuss what is available.
Where will classes take place?
Group classes meet in person in Melbourne CBD, for 90 minutes with 2–7 students. Private lessons are 60 minutes, online or in person. We’ll confirm the exact venue before booking.
How much are classes, and when do they start?
Dates, fees and class availability are being finalised. Register your interest with your preferred course and times, and we’ll contact you with the details before you make a booking.
How does the free trial work?
Send a request with your contact details and availability. Our free consultation/trial is a 30-minute online session. We’ll contact you to arrange a session on Google Meet or Zoom, chosen by the tutor. Sending a request does not confirm a booking.
Do I have to enrol after a trial?
No. The trial is a chance to ask questions and see whether the lessons suit your goals. There is no obligation to enrol.
How are online lessons held?
Online private lessons and consultations mainly use Google Meet or Zoom, chosen by your tutor. We’ll share the meeting link before your session.
What happens on a public holiday?
Group classes skip that week and continue the following week. For private lessons, you and your tutor agree whether to reschedule, skip the week or make another arrangement.
Where can I revise between lessons?
Slides, worksheets and revision materials are shared through Google Classroom. Revision is optional but encouraged.
Do lesson bundles expire?
Lesson bundles do not expire. We recommend completing them within 24 months.
Can I join above Level 1.1?
Yes. If you have studied Arabic before, a tutor can assess your experience and recommend a suitable starting point.
