English translation
On the day she moved into her new apartment, Salma thought the hardest thing would be carrying the furniture. She rented a large vehicle and asked two friends to help her. They moved the bed, table, and books quickly, then sat on the floor eating sandwiches and laughing.
After her friends left, Salma began opening the boxes. She found the clothes and dishes, but she could not find a small box labelled ‘Morning’. It contained her favourite cup, coffee, and phone charger. She searched every room, then remembered leaving it in the vehicle.
She called the friend who had returned the vehicle. He said he had found the box and left it at her door. She opened the door, and there it was, with a note on top: ‘A new home cannot begin without coffee.’ Salma smiled. The furniture was in place, but that little note made the apartment really feel like home.
